Troutman Pepper Locke is pleased to announce that Zach Torres-Fowler has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Society of Construction Law North America (SCL-NA).
Zach has spent more than a decade representing owners, contractors, and suppliers in some of the most complex and contentious international construction arbitration matters in the industry. His experience spans disputes arising from major infrastructure projects worldwide, including airports, high-rise developments, oil and gas facilities, and power generation projects across the United States, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Zach previously served as SCL-NA’s regional director for Philadelphia, where he worked to expand the organization’s presence and programming in the Mid-Atlantic region.
“SCL-NA brings together construction law practitioners from across North America while also connecting members to a global network of professionals through the Society of Construction Law International’s chapters spanning Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America,” said Torres-Fowler. “The organization addresses every phase of the construction lifecycle—from contract drafting and risk allocation through project delivery and dispute resolution. I’m honored to join the board and look forward to continuing to advance SCL-NA’s mission of fostering collaboration among the attorneys, engineers, arbitrators, and other experts committed to improving how our industry approaches these challenges.”
